Several of the Team Mission Source members braved the weather and rode in the rain on the Mayor's Ride on Sunday, April 28th. This popular ride was the 9th Annual event organized by Bike Roswell! to provide a better and safer bicycle friendly Roswell. Bike Roswell! is a cycling advocacy group that has made a major impact in getting Roswell officially designated a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. Roswell Bicycles is proud to have sponsored and supported Bike Roswell! since it’s founding in 2005.
Roswell Mayor's Ride - Roswell Bicycles provided full mechanical support for the bold riders that rode this ride to promote safe cycling at the ride’s Start. In addition, the bike shop supported the riders on the four ride option routes with roving mechanical and SAG support. With rainy weather the entire day, the ride had zero accidents or causalities. It was a very successful and adventurous day of cycling. We hope you were there to enjoy it with us.
Roswell Bicycles sponsored the Specialized Demo bike trailer for the Mayor’s Ride. Close to 30 high-end bicycles were loaned out for the day, giving riders a chance to ride some of the best bikes in the industry – at no charge. All of the demo bikes were reserved early, so if you missed your chance to take advantage of this golden opportunity make plans to ride the Mayor’s Ride next year and reserve you new bike early. Hopefully, we will be able to bring the demo bikes back for next year’s ride.
